The basket attached to me was the cause of all this strain, considering I was an integral part of a high school science experiment. It was a damn stupid idea, putting differently weighted objects in the basket and dropping them off of a high place, like the railing I was currently tied to on the other end. Hopefully, the child would learn about how different weights stayed in the basket, how fast they fell, etc. but none of it really mattered when you were just the pushed aside, taken for granted rope. And just as quickly, I was the broken snapped in half rope, thrown over the edge by a copy of <span style="font-style: italic;">Great Expectations</span>. <span style="font-style: italic;"><br /><br /></span>This is based on a prompt from creativewritingprompts.com, and was the second one I picked, not the first. It was to write something from the point of view of a rope about to snap, so here you go! I'm Lauren.<br /><br />I'm seventeen, live in Georgia, and moved here recently from New Hampshire, hence the "new hampshire peach". There are pros and cons of both places, but that's a different story for a different post.<br /><br />This blog is going to serve more than one purpose. First of all, of course, it's a blog. Which will probably have mostly art, crafts, and cooking, and sometimes personal things. On the other hand, it's also going to be my writing inspiration. My goal is to write at least 100 words a day, either inspired by me, a rant, or a random prompt.
